Embrace your uniqueness

From your first memories, someone is telling you, “do this, be that.” Throughout life, you’re taught to become this “being” that fits into a mold dictated by society…a society that reinforces conformity. It tells you that if you think differently, or want to be different – there’s something wrong. Why accept society’s terms? Be who you want to be. Do what you want to do.

Why did I start Warn Out?

There are multiple reasons why I decided to pursue Warn Out. I ultimately wanted to make something different, something that was a challenge and that I haven’t seen before. I wanted to make it for people searching for these same things but were unable to find them and didn’t want to make it. I wanted to create something for people that were tired of the ordinary and wanted it to be known. I enjoy fashion, art, technology and wanted to make something that incorporated all of them and spread a good message.

I thought it would be cool to make clothes where none of them are similar, they have their own look and personality, just like people. I think art is beautiful and I think people are just as beautiful. There is 8 billion of us on this planet and yet not one of us are exactly the same, not even twins. We all have our own stories and personality, so why not wear unique clothes to match. I want to make awesome clothes with one of one designs. Sometimes you may find a design you really like, but there’s just one thing off, Warn Out gives you the opportunity to change your design as well. All of the designs are different, but if there’s something else you prefer, just tweak it.

I think so many fashion companies, clothing lines, clothing brands, whatever you want to call it, (especially ecommerce ones) use a simple fabric garment, put a logo on it with some half ass message behind it and decide to sell it (extremely overpriced most of the time). I thought it would be cool to actually carry out what my brand meant and actually talk the talk. To align my designs with my message and have them all be different, like people. If I’m spreading a message of differentiation and uniqueness, I should practice what I preach and do it with the clothes. I also want to do it at an affordable price, but with good quality and for you to receive it in a timely manner.

For people who are tired of norms, complacency, conformity, settling and any other kinds of bs that society feeds us. If you are different and feel like you’re unaccepted, you should know that that’s hell of a lot better than being the same as the person next to you. Embrace what makes you you, it’s special and don’t change that for anyone.
